The Bloomington Center for the Arts

The Bloomington Fine Arts Council is located in the Bloomington Center for the Arts, a stunning new facility that opened in July of 2003 at 1800 West Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington. To get to the Center, take the 98th Street Exit off I 35W South and head west to Logan. Turn left and park at the north end of the building.

THE SCHNEIDER THEATER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

The Schneider Theater for the Performing Arts is a beautiful 366-seat auditorium, complete with an orchestra pit and acoustic shell. It is home to Angelica Cantanti,  Bloomington Chorale, Bloomington Civic Theatre,  Continental Ballet Company, Gallery Players,  Bloomington Symphony Orchestra , Medalist Concert Band, and NOTE-able Singers.

Our Building

The Bloomington Center for the Arts houses a rehearsal hall, two art galleries, and a variety of studios including painting, drawing, crafts, clay, and photography.  In addition, it offers the Schneider Theater, the Black Box Theater for intimate performances and a ballet studio which is home to the Continental Ballet Company.
